I believe that is a Honda Helix…250 cc single- ridiculously reliable, so up to the task.
I think it's great that some folks show you don't need 1 litre plus motorbikes to ride further than the corner shop. If you believe the hype you'd be off to buy the new 1300 GSA including all the BMW endorsed merchandise before you set off for a Sunday afternoon run out.
There are several groups of riders in the UK who ride bikes much smaller than this all over Europe including the unmade roads over the Alpine High Passes in France, Austria and Italy etc. The new 125 Cub is proving popular and is replacing the older Honda bog seats for longer journeys.
To clarify these aren't folk who put them in the back of a van and drive them to the EU, they'll set off from England and ride maybe 3 to 4 thousand miles over two weeks.
I've just been reading about Bogger and his merry band of men who rode just such a journey recently and passed some GS riders going over one unmade pass, I'd have loved to have seen their faces.
Sometimes we take ourselves too damn seriously.

I won't call it an adventure, you'd need a GS for that.

I’ve got over 2k miles on my new ct125 and it’s become my first choice to grab.
Looking at sites like ADV rider, folks who are getting older, or don’t want to buy into the “you must own a bmw gs” to go on an adventure, are snatching up these ct125’s and going cross country, tat, bdr, etc.
The guy from revzilla already did the

As far as riding days go, it didn't get much better than the sunny and mid-60's weather of March in NC. Departing Charlotte toward Hanging Rock area in north-central NC, I stuck mostly to back...
