So I went for a ride the other day and found my Sena bluetooth comms unit would not turn on. Thinking the battery was dead I plugged in to the bike, and after an hour ride no joy. At home I plugged it in for 24 hours and no joy again. Tried multiple wires/plug ins. Unit won't turn on. Any ideas? Time to buy a new one?

I’d try plugging it into a computer and running the Sena software, to see if the computer recognizes it. When you charge it, does the charge light ever turn blue, showing that it’s fully charged?

I've seen that with my SMH10. Had to replace the battery. If John's recommendations don't work, it's most likely the battery.

I had a 20S die on me and and not knowing it had a two year warranty, I pulled it apart and tried getting a battery for it. When I found out it was still under warranty, I put it back together and sent it in to them and they sent me a new 20S. By that time I had bought a set of 30Ks and sold the 20Ss.

When I had my accident last month, I took the 30K off the helmet and when I got home, I put it some place safe. So safe, I have yet to find it. :doh1:

No light no time no how. Not red, not blue.

That's easy enough to do. Nobody should get any grief for such an easy and probably common problem. I mean it could happen to anybody amiright??

Contacted Sena. Apparently I wasn't holding the reset button down long enough. Appears to be working now, I am charging and will do a factory reset when charged. In looking a the manual I noticed that this thing will receive FM radio. Gonna have to figure out how to make that work.

Um, the guys who write the user manual?
I've been through a ton of user manuals and my experience is the majority of them get the time wrong. It may be right for the lab's R&D prototype but it's often not right for the shipping product. Or due to manufacturing tolerences it takes more or less time for a specific evelution.

Who'd of thought it was simply a question of holding down the reset button longer.
Let us know if you receive FM radio.
Got the radio, but the control of it is funky and non-intuitive for me. Probably stick with Spotify.
