My initial impression is that it is a POS. After assembling the mount and placing the GPS into it, a few hours later, the mount broke at the back of the GPS and the GPS fell free. Fortunately, it was in my car and didn't fall too far. It was not mounted in my car, but just had been laying on the passenger seat.

The interface looks good, esp. if you already are familiar with doing stuff on your Garmin, Tom-Tom, or whatever brand. It comes with an extra battery, so that probably means that it eats batteries.

You will need to buy or otherwise procure a compatible map, because one doesn't come with the unit, so if you have access to Tom-Tom or Ndrive (??) maps and have a micro-SD card handy (goes under the battery, like some cell phones) to load it onto, you, too, can be in business. I don't have any T-T or Ndrive maps or access. Not sure what to do next.

The 12v power cord plugs into the mount via a coaxial mini-plug, and has a pigtail at the other end, so unless you wire it to a cigar lighter plug or equivalent, it must be wired directly to switched/unswitched/fused/unfused 12v somewhere.
Evidently, the mount is flimsy, and I'm not sure how it can be reinforced.

I'm considering emailing the distributor and sending it back for refund, but will hold off for a few days to see if someone here can advise me differently. You can see from the frownies that I'm not totally satisfied with my purchase. Using my Garmin 260 and a sandwich bag is looking better and better, but I'll miss out on having the Bluetooth capabilitiy.
