Helmets Shoei Face Shield Opening Adjustment - How?

I saw a vague reference in my Shoei manual that explains the "fog" gap adjustment procedure, but neither of them do a very clear job of detailing the process.

Apparently, you can turn one of the screws on one of the visor mechanisms and accordingly adjust how much gap is opened when setting the left-side visor mechanism to the down position.

Out of the box, I've got a large gap that I'd like to reduce.

I don't think I'm explaining this that well, but if anyone understands my request, and knows how to do this, could you clue me in?

I may be way off her but the left side lock lever clicked down (??? or up, I don't remember) is the fog crack position and clicked up is locked in place fully closed. Maybe you are clicking the lever down in the fog crack position where there is a small gap on the left side and thinking it should be fully closed.

The manual explained noise adjustment fairly well. I was looking for the method which reduces the visor gap when the left side lever is flipped down (?) to insure that you can aerate the visor when it fogs up.

That visor lever is a small cam, I don't beleive it can be changed.
