Helmets Shoei Multitec - Is this too good to be true?

One thing to note about Parts411.com... They don't take helmets back, so be sure you have the correct size. Not a reason to stay away as I've heard good things about them.

Since I wasn't CERTAIN about my size, I ordered from MotoDepot.com. Coupon code is MOTODEPOT. A bit higher at $379.95, but still cheap.

Yeah helmet exchange is important. I tried one on in town the other day. I shouldn't have that's why I'm wanting one. I have always worn an XL but the large I put on fit just a'little snug. I'm thinking as plush as it is when it gets broke in it will be just right.
I would like to get the helmet for under $400.00 shipping and tax. MOTODEPOT is close.
Any other good dealers with good prices?

It's been about 1 1/2 years since I bought mine so the prices may have come down. I got it at Helmet Harbor for $399. They were great to work with. It wold be worth checking with them. I tried mine on in the store and got fitted so return was not an issue for me. Good luck with your purchase. I'm very satisfied with my Multitec.

I pulled the trigger on an HJC from an ebay vendor. I was a bit nervous about dropping $150 on ebay, but I took a chance, and everything worked out well. If they've got a lot of transactions, and a good rep, it helps to make the decision.

But, as always on ebay: buyer beware. :nuts1:

You can call them or the code is in the sku number; the second set of digits from the end
01-175-HH---- 27JJ88---- 362

In this case it's 27JJ88

Just make sure you know your size because they don't take em back! Also shipping was very slow but the price was right.

Thanks - Mitch!
I wonder if the slow shipping and not taking them back is they don't really stock them. Not that it matters.

About the color - Is the red one anywhere near the same color as my 2000 Red ST11?

I visited a couple shops in town and tried on different helmets noting the sizes that fit best. I found my helmet of choice at parts411.com. I went to the local shop again to double check the size and mentioned the price I found on parts411.com and the bike shop matched the price without looking it up. Got my helmet right then and there.....no shipping charges. :)

I spent a'little more but decided to go with MotoDepot. Returns - if it is too small. I bought the Red one. This has been exciting for me because I bank rolled it by selling stuff. Here, Sport Touring and Ebay.

Thanks for the advice and in some case financial support.

I think I have enough extra $ to buy a heated Jacket liner. Where's a good deal on one of those?

I ended up buying my Synergy Jacket from MotoDepot also. $139.99 with the discount and free shipping since I bought a helmet too! Good prices - I'll let you know about the service.
