I am buying a bike with a small ding in the gas tank. The bike is a 2012 FZ6R. The owner told me he would credit me for the price to fix the ding at a good body shop. I can't tell by the picture what the dent looks like. Smooth and round, or sharp and "hard". The smoother one will be easier to fix.
I paid a PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) guy $200 to "massage" a dent out of the front fender of my Venza. It looks like the dent never occurred. If they can get at it from the inside it might be possible to have it fixed this way.
IMHO if this can't be done that way go to a reputable body shop and get a quote and get the work done.
