For those who have or had a SmarTire system I was just on the Vulcan tire web site and they seem to be selling the sensors again.

I thought the same thing so I ordered 2 sensors with straps. I got a confirmed order they showed in stock.

Its wierd I can't find the link I used so I am doubting myself. But I do have a confirmed order.
I just sent them an e-mail. The website shows them as discontinued and the shopping card indicated unavailable, but it still listed a price. I'll share the response when I get it.

I think the discontinued part is the motorcycle two tired receiving unit. The sensors for the car units are the same as I bought one from Vulcan just two months ago and it synced up fine and is working perfectly. Look in the automobile replacement section and you should find the replacement sensors.

"Are the SmarTire sensors, hoops, and valve bridges still available? I already have the receiver/display unit, but need to replace broken sensors. The website says that they're discontinued, but still shows a price in the shopping cart."
And their reply today:
"Sorry these are all sold out. Let us know if we can be of further assistance."
I guess I should have asked if the auto units would substitute.

I just checked on my order and it say in process to ship. I ordered both sensors and the clamps, a complete set $99. I hope they actually ship. I will keep you all posted. I hope this works out I miss my SmarTire system and I am tired of looking at an orange warning light on my dash. I just never gave up on getting new sensors so I never removed it.

One other thing I noticed the sensors were all color coded and the kit I got is a universal replacement for all the colors. I hope they work.
