Hi.

I want to tell you of my experience, on my ABS failure, code 1.

I bought the bike for 2 years ago, and everything was ok
When starting it up after the first winter, the failure code 1 was present. -I was able to reset it after many tries, and after some miles driving. -After that it was ok the rest of the season
After this winter the same thing happened. Code 1 was present after firing it up. Also blowing the fuse to the pump motor.
After some tries, and some fuses, i connected the pump (front) direct to my 30A charger, for a very short time. The pump was stuck.

I guess the only thing you can do with a ABS-modulator, is to "open" the electric motor, looking at the windings (And change brushes). Check link:

The inside was full of dust. Cleaning and lubing, and then put it together again. -Everything was working perfect.

Still have my used spare front modulator....
