Hello everyone,
Bumbleberry is missing an air filter gasket element (see diagram Ref# 5, part 17212-MT3-300). My guess is this part sits on top of the air filter and provides tight fit on top of the filter.
I am trying to find a replacement but since it's missing, I can't figure out dimensions and thickness.
Anyone has the information, dimension, and/or photo of this part?

While that part is no longer available from Honda, as I would assume it never was as an individual part from the AC cover, indicated by the grouping of the three components that make up the cover under part 3, you can still get the entire cover which will come with that gasket from David Silver Spares.

Their USA dealer may have it as well. I didn't check there.

The bottom one is there, the top one is not.
It wasn't there when I first got the bike. The original air filter is long gone.
Measure the thickness of the bottom one, go to the auto parts store, match the thickness with some vacuum or washer hose and make a seal by splicing the ends matching the diameter of the other seal. Easy peasy.

AFAIK are those some O-ring style, foam rubber seals, glued into the lid (or the base) with impact glue, and have compressed from their former circular cross-section into a D shape over the years...

So from that POV any adhesive anti-draft window/door strips should serve as a prompt temporary measure...

But long term you'll need something providing resistance against oil- and fuel-vapor...

In a quick search I found some "sealing cord", made of ethylene polypropylene dine monomer rubber, likely not resistant against fuel and mineral oils...

We need nitrile or fluorine rubber... found some on eBay:
