Great instructions and information - just replaced the preload oil on the weekend. 2004 ST1300 ABS - Km 81,000 - Very simple task if you take your time and read all the helpful advice on the forum. I was surprised how little oil in the reservoir, colour was good (light gold) but I would say maybe only 25ml. refilled with 10W Motul Fork Oil, after cleaning, bleed the air out by 'cracking' the banjo bolt after reattaching and screwing in the adjusted a very small amount, and happy to report I now have resistance on 2nd click - whereas before there was no resistance until almost halfway through the range. Also replaced the Copper washers to ensure there are no fluid leaks - Thanks to all who contributed for all the input and helpful advice.
