Sunday coffee

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Mac. Please walk fast, I'm hungry.

It's a pleasant 63°F (feels like 57 despite completely calm air) in Rockville with mixed sun and clouds overhead. Partly sunny and a high around 75 are expected.

Yesterday's baseball outing was enjoyable. Today, I have nothing planned but there are many options available.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Mac.

It's 57 and sunny in MA this morning, rising to 67 with continued blue skies.

Yesterday was a lazy day, and we didn't get started doing anything until late afternoon.
I managed to get the netting installed in the gazebo, and an evening walk with the neighbor's dog.
Brenda went to her bowling dinner, where her team collected fourth place.

Today, we have no real plans, again. I'll try to talk Brenda into a ride, somewhere, after she wakes and has breakfast.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Thanks, Mac.
Yesterday was a dud, trying to diagnose a constant surging problem on the JD riding mower.
Basically took off the carb and intake manifold, cleaned the already clean carburetor, and repeated the process a couple of times. After reinstalling the carb on one occasion, I realized I forgot to put the float back in.
Well, that won't work.
Doesn't most of the afternoon on it, accomplished essentially nothing, and at the end of it all, now it won't start. It cranks just fine, the fuel pump spits out gas, but it will not catch and run.
At one point, my next door neighbor dropped by and asked, "are you breaking it, or fixing it?"
Sitting on my driveway, surrounded by tools and all the parts I'd removed, I looked at him and grinned... YEP!
ah, fun times, wasting time.
Now it's sitting in the driveway, in a driving, noisy, very wet thunderstorm. I can't move it... it has a hydrostatic transmission, so I can't just put it in neutral and push it back under the deck.
Good morning everyone, hope you can get done what you want to get done.
Or get nothing done, too, if that's your plan.

Caption; oops...

Good morning, all, and thanks for the wake-up, Mac! I have some nice, Quebec maple syrup to go with those waffles! :)

It rained on and off all day yesterday, and we had some thunderstorms roll through in the late afternoon/evening, and it's going to rain all day again today, sometimes heavily. I have a birthday celebration to attend this afternoon, and I have to go out to pick up a prezzie and card, and a few kinds of cheese for the gathering. How I'm going to manage that without getting my bandages wet I'm not sure, but I'll figure it out.

Everyone have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Mac!
I’m looking forward to those waffles, come on Patty, where is that syrup?:p

I had done so much of nothing yesterday, that there were still piles of it hanging about this morning.

We have another of many coffee gatherings here this morning.
It’s a grand time of the usual banter & carry on!

Our weather here on the Bruce Peninsula, has taken a turn towards the cooler side.
46/48 F overcast with a stiff NNW breeze to make you snuggle into that summer coat that’s too light!
Enjoy you weekend folks.

A gorgeous Sonday morning in SoMD! Thanks for the coffee Mac as I roll out of bed full of ambition and empty of energy. An asiago cheese bagel helps quiet the beast within and the herd is fed.

Now to get stuff done... Whatever that is. It could include mowing the lawn (needed after over 3 inches of rain last week), finally replacing the Envoy's steering rack (yeah, I've said this before...low probability), waste more time 3D printing doo-dads (high probability), clean up the basement (while waiting for said doo-dads), and maybe some work in the garage since it is nice and cool at 72F/23C.

Yesterday's rehearsal was short but good. And I got some grass seed thrown down in shady spots that are slow to take (yes I'm using shade seed). It either gets washed away by spring storms or eaten by birds & squirrels, or dug up by the dogs. Two generations of farmers before me, and I can't get grass to grow where I want it.

Welp, time for that second cup. Thanks again, Mac, and take care y'all!

Good Morning, Thanks Mac for coffee, Partly Sunny this morning 9 C high 15 some time today. Sadlsor on the back of your John Deere maybe a small rod bent 90 degrees downward, when you pull it out it disconnects the hydrostatic transmission, so you can push it. Hopefully today weather is good for a ride, only thing on my agenda. Hopefully Y'all's will have a good day,G

Morning Mac & All from a wet morning in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 42F, and .22 inches of rain has fallen since midnight. More to come? We'll see. We should get to 56F with some possible thunderstorms while we are at it. We have a slight breeze now, but later, we'll see the winds out of the WNW @ 16 to 20mph.

Well, one down, one to go. It was a quick trip, but it did what we needed to do. Our grand daughter in Northern Utah got her diploma, so she's happy.

And now we get to prepare for our trip up to Montana for the next one. This trip will be more exciting. I'll be hauling my :bl13: up there for my son to ride during our August Montana/Yellowstone ride along with two of my other sons and one of their friends will be joining us. So I need to do a little work on the '04 and prep the trailer.

I'll start on all of that tomorrow.

Chris isn't up yet, so no food/drink yet. But we'll have boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ, once she does get up. Pepsi(s) for after church.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
