Personally I am eyeing the Red Line (Light, Yellow) for my next fork oil.

I was curious if using something like these for the pre load adjuster may stop the leaching that happens over time. I put jack oil in as was recommended, leaving it cranked loses fluid. I currently have it set at zero and will be refilling before the next ride, should I just replace it with a quality fluid?

I think choice of preload fkuid is barking up the wrong tree.

The Showa preload mechanisms don't lose fluid rather the rubber hose swells under pressure over time and the amount of fluid contained can no longer exert the same travel against the spring. Set the setting to zero if not riding the bike for a few days and it never swells the hose and "loses" fluid.
