Hi All,
Well I set out to find a good deal on a tent and a sleeping bag but I wanted them to fit in a saddlebag without pushing on the bag too much.
I found what I was looking for and they both fit in the saddlebag including the footprint for the tent.
I bought the Eureka Apex 2XTA because the storage bag is shorter than the 2XT and the poles are aluminum. Then I got the Eureka Copper River 30+ sleeping bag which comes with it's own compression sack. No I'm not loaded. I just got my wife company discount to get the stuff so I made out pretty good on the whole thing.
I took a couple shots to show how the fit. The nets are made by Hopnel in Rice Lake Wisconsin. Yippee!!! A local manufacturer!!
