Good morning everyone

Let's start with the coffee, that being the more urgently-needed item than information about my local weather. It's the last of the Azimuth blend by Compass, and very tasty it is.

It's 67°F in Rockville, where the sun will rise at 0608 and set at 2020 hours. In between those two day-defining events it'll be partly sunny with a high around 87.

Light housework is needed today, and perhaps a bike ride or a kayak outing to supplement it.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thx Keith, fascinating taste!

13˚c/55f, 20 mph breeze from Rays direction, overcast, showers.

Sun up 05:25, sun down 22:04.

Today I’m planning to make fishcakes from the catch earlier this week.

Stu plans, God laughs.

Have a good one!
Stu

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start , Keith.

65 going to 83 in MA today. Slight possibility of a passing shower, but generally partly cloudy.
Kind of like yesterday, except the passing shower was a deluge. Fortunately, at the end of our work day .

Yesterday's Lemons practice day went off well. One car lost its rear wheel just before my turn, and I got to watch it roll on, sans car. I guess we found all of the lug nuts, because he was out on track later in the day.

Today, we're off to the races, so to speak. We expect around 70 cars, with drivers of various skills, so it'll be interesting , for sure.

Enjoy your day ,
Steve

And so ends another workweek...
of not becoming unexpectedly rich,
nor magically loosing like 20 lbs... :coffee:

G'Day...

22°/35°C, mostly sunny, chances of brief summer showers in the afternoon... 🌤️🌥️🌦️⛈️

at ze GF's, Quadpresso (AKA 4 capsules Nespresso) in a big mug... :coffee-2x:

not much planned, ze GF invited a befriended couple for the evening... Raclette... :food1:😋
hence a grocery run to have something to put on/into that WMF grilling device... salmon steaks, lots of meat & cheese, potatoes of course...
I trimmed the lawn edges, hopped under the garden shower 🚿 and collapsed in the deck chair... ⛱️

meanwhile ze GF also decided to name our steady resident garden crows...

despite being already as big as the parent birds, is this year's hatchling (center) still begging for food... loudly... typical teenager... ;)
Besides their early morning "BAAHH!-BAAHH!" they're fun to observe and are highly appreciative of the daily fresh filled birdbath to have a sip or two to fight the heat...

well, enjoy the w/e! 😎
time for another 🚿

Thanks for the starter, Keith.
Can't imagine this many people up so early on a Saturday.
That's not my style, usually.
Mostly rainy here today. The grass could be mowed, but it's not likely I'll do that.
This wet summer is keeping it green, and growing fast.
The radiator hoses for the Element arrived yesterday, and that really needs to be done. And a new battery.
Coffee first.
But rain or shine, it IS Saturday.
Deal with it. 😄

Goooood morning, folks, and thank you much for the coffee, Keith. My apologies for going awol for a bit there, but aren't you lucky...I'm baaaaaaack.

It hasn't been all that hot lately, but it has been unpleasantly muggy and alarmingly smokey. My sinuses are constantly blocked and I can't stop coughing. Not fun. There seems to be less haze today. The day has started off with a mix of sun and clouds, which will change to just clouds in preparation of a day of rain and thunderstorms tomorrow. We have a current temp of 23°C/73°F, which feels like 27°C/81°F, and we'll be treated to a high of 26°C/79°F with a sticky feels-like of 33°C/91°F. The weather gurus are telling us there's some nasty heat coming our way in the very near future....oh joy, oh bliss.

Keith, I loved all the pics you posted of your cycling trip - looks like it was a hoot and you had a great time!
Stu, sounds like you're feeling right as rain after your bout with that nasty illness; I'm very glad.

Welp, better get to some'at. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning Keith & All from a VERY SUNNY, Southern Utah!

The heat is here! It's already 84F and heading to 100F (if not higher). No breeze now and later the blast furnace will be from the W @ 9 to 13mph.

Glad to see you back Patty! :)

Last evening, after the side of the garage was shaded, I added one of those Velcro door screens to my garage side door. That way I can open it and run a fan to try to cool down my garage at night, before heading for bed. It gets to be in the low 90Fs in there.

Today, with the heat out there, I doubt if much activity will be happening in the yard. I do need to review the WeSTOC 30 shirt orders, and make sure I got them all correctly. I'll go down to ST George to put the orders in, next week.

Chris made up some cinnamon bread, French Toast, and I nuked some sausage patties. Washed it down with some OJ. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Happy Saturday sounds like a bit of decent weather all around
Had a good cup of percolated something or other after a long friday
Flew into Edmonton to visit and drive the MH back a lot of haze from the smoke as your descending down through the... well, mostly haze and a hazy sunset but looks good once you're back under it and blown over a bit today
Wish everyone safe travels and a good weekend

Afternoon all, and thanks for the coffee, Keith.

Cloudy and 23, but very muggy. Temps are still on the upward swing, headed to 28. The mugginess will unfortunately remain.

It's a 3 day weekend here, with Monday being a holiday. I won't complain.

Enjoy your weekend.

Obo.
