folks are back from their Easter holidays...
and they're extremely annoying... on the roads as well as at the office (internal and external "clients"...)... pffff...

so I've decided to act age appropriate: work slowly... 😁
seriously, don't expect complex technical answers or offers with 100+ items in them within 10~15 minutes anymore... 😛
first in, first out, one by one... and the more they push, the more I delay their request...

However, a false-Monday... doh... 😎

Grrrr morning Martin!
Appreciate the black energy juice but the mind squirrels are just too active this morning..... I should be sleeping 😴 for a couple more hours at least.

About 25F here this morning, possibly heading to 36F before sliding waaaay down to 19F for the night. Last night before bed the forecast was for close to 3 inches of snow today, starting at 8:00AM. Looking now, the total has been revised to maybe an inch.

I can understand the new approach to working more "methodically". Back when I was working and getting close to retirement, I developed the attitude whereby the more I was "reminded" to get a task done, the more often it was "overlooked" on my daily agenda.

Nothing exciting planned for today. I'll spend a couple hours at the shooting club this morning with "the crew" for our weekly coffee, doughnuts and maintenance tasks morning. It doesn't seem like a lot each week, but one task of collecting discarded brass ends up with an average payback of $4,000 a year.
This afternoon, there are a lot of ingredients in the refrigerator I need to turn into meals for the rest of the week.

Be safe, be careful and beware of racing mind rodents.

Thirst-day just seems wrong for a Twos-day.

-3 and sunny, headed to +3 and cloudy.

Yesterday ended up cycling between sun, rain, snow and ice pellets. It was a wild afternoon. I also got my barnet chopped. Wild again, but also no so wild looking now. The Mrs. approves of it.

It's 34 with snow showers in the area. Temperature should rise to 46, and the showers should taper off, eventually. 10-20mph wind will make it feel colder.

Yesterday's phone meeting with the anesthesiologist went well. She explained what meds I need to stop, before, and some of the dietary restrictions. I already knew about the required blood work, but they added an ekg and chest X-ray. I'll do them next week, before the meeting with my Urologist.

Today, I'll head over to the Podiatrist to have her take a look at my achilies. I must have made a bad food decision, because my gout is flaring in the same foot! Tylenol should keep the pain in both in check.
Today is also First Tuesday, so I'll meet with my former Bose coworkers for a bit.
Brenda's bowling league has finished up, so she'll root around our leftovers for dinner.

@sah48 our range is closed this week for a general clean-up and replacement of the back-stop material. These are heavy rubber mats, with steel plates behind..

This morning it's Organika Electrolytes with Enhanced Collagen supplemented with [among calcium magnesium phosphorous and potasium]
vitamin C at 122% yup, says right on the label; I guess the dried up hard water residue must account for the remaining - 78%
Also comes with a caution - do not drink with any other supplements and no more than two servings per day...
I think it will be coffee tomorrow
Was a good few days off, not enough time on the ST never is but had some good weather
got a start around the yard and some utility trailer repairs see if I can get some new wheel bearings this week
Nothing kills insomnia and helps you get back to sleep like a new trailer gate... zzzzzz...

It gives a lot of us a chance to visit with friends near & far! It is appreciated! It’s always nice to actually meet up with some! I’ve been lucky enough to meet with a number of them.
It’s always a good feeling for me, to be able to put a face to a name!

It's 43°F and mostly sunny in Lansdale PA. A high around 50 will precede an overnight plunge into the mid 20s. The very thought sends a chill up my spine.

Yesterday's hopes of a rapid completion to the garage clean out task failed to materialize, as all four sisters spent the entire afternoon "helping" ("enabling" is a more accurate term) at their aunt's new pigsty place. I ran errands and cooked a pot of chili, so at least I felt as though I had contributed something to the day.

In their defense, the dumpster at the garage was full (due to be emptied today) so the most they could have done was examine, sort, and separate what's to be kept for dispersal from what goes to the dump.

Perhaps today will be better.

I find that concentrating on dull, mundane, disagreeable, unsatisfying tasks I could be doing is a tremendously effective sleep aid.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.
