Mornin' y'all! Couldn't wait any longer so I went yesterday and brought her home!

Rides like no other Goldwing I've ever owned. Someone said once on this forum that
when this generation came out it should have the moniker-ST1800. Well maybe, to me
its somewhere in between.

Oh yeah, right, I almost forgot; Green Mountain Dark in the pot and some eggs and bacon
on the table!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Dave, and congratulations on the new ride! Very nice.

It's 55°F in Rockville, mostly cloudy, and supposedly feels like 57. Scattered showers and a high of 76 are expected, though the graphic forecast doesn't indicate rain until 1900 hours.

It's ukulele group day, so this afternoon I'll betake myself to the local musical instrument emporium and mix it up for a couple hours with like-minded enthusiasts. Before that I have some writing to do, as well as some odds-and-ends tasks to complete although they are neither urgent nor substantial so there's no penalty for letting them slide.

Yesterday evening the local single malt appreciation society convened for our (loosely) once-a-month get-together; I was the host and was pleased to be able to use the back patio for the occasion. I even fired up the propane heater for the final hour or so, not because it was really needed but because it made things more comfortable and pleasant. After not having used it for years, I revived it last October then let it sit all winter. Once I remembered to turn the gas on at the tank yesterday, it fired right up and worked beautifully. Quite gratifying.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thx Dave and congrats! Wow, what a nice ride!!!

Up early and filled a mold with concrete, making a new mooring for my boat.
The old one turned out belongs to the neighbouring boat…
Concrete is heavy.

Yesterday I was Peter-sitting.

Rest of this day will include some cooking, a late afternoon beach walk.
And coffee.

10C/50f, sunny, wind calmed down to 10mph, nice.

Have a good one!
Stu

Looking west today, there’s some fog lurking out in the ocean…

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee and entertainment, Dave, and congrats on the new ride! She's a beauty!

The appropriate descriptive for today's weather is "bleh." Grey and colder than yesterday, with a few sprinkles here and there - not one ray of sunshine to be found. The day's temperature spread will be 8°C/48°F to 12°C/54°F. I won't complain too much; apparently, a major May blizzard is descending on Northern Quebec today. Too far north for us to worry about here, but still.

Right, got some tings to do, so I'll be off. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start and your sense of humour Dave! Can I borrow your bike? :rofl1:

Yesterday saw the shore crib built & partially filled with rock! Yes, I do have a sore back!

Currently 37 with a high of 50, the cruel NNE breeze will have me bundled up for the day!
Enjoy your Thursday!

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee and eye candy, Dave. The bike looks great!

60/75 with afternoon thunderstorms. Right now, we’re under a fog warning. I’m glad they broadcast the alert. For a while, I thought it was just me.

Today, I’ll take Teddy to Tractor Supply and let him shop for his food and treats. He’s 2 weeks in, on taking his allergy meds. Only 3 more months before he sees results.
