Morning all! French roast s in the pot, along with some leftover meatloaf.

Odd mix, but hey, there's coffee.

+4 here, having rained overnight. I did snow blow when I got home yesterday, so it's not as bad a mix of slushy goodness as it could have been. Slippery in spots though, given how the ground was frozen. Will head downward to -11 as the day progresses, so slippery again.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays upright, unless you're trying to sleep.

Obo.

Good morning everyone

It's chilly and dark in Rockville so I've made a big pot of French roast to warm my aging carcass. There's more than enough to share, so help yourselves.

By "chilly" I mean, specifically, 33°F with a breeze that makes it feel like 10°F. The temperature range today is small: it may get to 35 before it drops to 29 after sunset. It's also cloudy, so it'll be another of those gray, dull, cheerless days, at least from a meteorological perspective.

Inside the House of Fun, it'll be a different story since today is the day I host the ukulele group holiday party. Music and merriment will abound in the afternoon; in the morning I'll be busy preparing.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

[EDIT: once again, for the second consecutive day, the @Obo / Fun tandem have conspired to bring you a double shot of java. You're welcome!]

Some people meditate.
I drink coffee and scream silently in my mind... :coffee:

G'Day...

2°/10°C, only a few clouds, resulting in an odd gray-pink sky in the morning...

the usual home and office caffeination... ☕

a bit of busy morning here at the office, typical symptoms of the annual "THE END IS NEAR!" panic...
previously undiscovered budgets need to be blown out by the end of the fiscal year, otherwise the IRS would be all over them...
hence urgent inquiries for prompt offers appear en mass...

GF is moving quicker every day, her limping has gradually reduced...
Today she's scheduled two(!) physio sessions... bet she's gonna be sore and lamenting in the evening...

we almost made it though the week though...

Good morning, everyone, and thanks to Obo and Keith for the coffee start.

Its mostly cloudy and 33 in MA this morning, rising only one more degree before dropping to the mid-20s, later.

Yesterday, I returned my rental carpet cleaner , and had the truck inspection on my way home.
After lunch, I took the neighbor's dog for a walk in the Outback. She wanted a short swim, but the ice along the edge of the pond thwarted her.
I also assembled a shoe cubby that Brenda found on Wayfair.

Today, I'll try for a gym visit, and I have a home health visit from my insurer.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning from Poverty Gulch . Cold here today with a layer of snow and ice . Snowed about 5 inches then rained for 4 hours ,temp dropped and more snow on top . Of course cleaned up driveway and then snowplow comes by and drops 18 inches of frozen stuff back in at the end .Thank you for the coffee and now time to attempt to move said frozen block . Salt might be my friend shortly . Take care ride safe EH!

Good Morning, thanks Obo, Keith and Martin for coffee and entertainment. iPhone is messed up this morning, saying temperature is 45 F with a high of 51 F, but if I look at the hourly forecast 48 F will be the highest temperature at 2 pm. Outside says cloudy Overcast, dry at the moment. Have done my usual stuff this morning, not sure what to do with the rest of the day, stay healthy. G

Morning all! Grey and wet today. 9C now, a high of 10C later. We've had a lot of rain in a short period so there are concerns about further heavy rains headed our way. With the ground already super saturated, flood warnings abound. I see from the news that the Lower Mainland has already been hit by floods in and around Abbotsford. It cut off the major highways between the Lower Mainland and the Interior of BC last night. Washington State has been hit hard as well. I had never heard of atmospheric rivers until the flood that wiped out Lytton but now they seem to be all the rage.

Working from the office today as I have to pick up a gift card for my assistant for Xmas. Brought in the young pup who is making the rounds for treats and generally causing havoc with his charm and good looks. He's a bit skittish so he takes a while to warm up to people but once he does, he's constantly demanding butt scratches. It goes without saying that his popularity far outranks mine.....I know! I couldn't believe it either!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Obo, Keith & All from sunny Southern Utah!

Currently it is 43F, up from 26F and heading for 63F. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be from NNW @ 5 to 6mph.

Chris decided that we only needed to put the ornaments on the pine tree and call that good. I was fine with that. I also assembled my new office chair that I bought at Costco, the other day. We'll see how long this one lasts.

Because of the temps being where they are, I'm going to try to get a :dr13: ride in today!

We had eggs, bacon, toast and I had a Pepsi to wash it all down. Costco has been out of their Orange Juice for a couple of months, and they had some other stuff at the ST George store, but not up north, so I'll be drinking Pepsi with my eggs for now.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Well, due to feeling like I'm coming down with something I must have picked up at the funeral, I wasn't able to get out and ride. But, it looks like this weather will continue into next week, so hopefully, I'll get a ride in then!
