Coffee helps me to tolerate conversations being forced upon me... :coffee:

G'Day...

yeah, that month takes like forever... :cautious:

loads of Nespresso and Nescafé make it bearable... ☕

the weather: 1°/3°C, overcast, quite abundant precipitation, possible turning into sleet during the afternoon and throughout the night... in short: yuck...

patched tire on the trusty Toyota is holding up well... good...

female office neighbor seems to have had parakeet food for breakfast (Sprechperlen),
resulting in frequent "...I have a question..." vocalizations... not good... especially (not exclusively) before coffee... ☕

Already fired out some offers/quotations... a/c for a newly build Austrian Railway Training Center 🚆... 17 indoor units... nice... 🏗️

enjoy the day before Friday... 😎

Yawn! Hi Martin, thanks for the drink.
Beyond Black has dripped through, so time for a refill I reckon... few things in life are more sad than an empty coffee cup.
Weather predictions have changed from 25% for rain, to 5 and 10%, and a high of 50°.
I learned that 30° is doable without electrics or overpass, so I'm still flirting with that lower threshold beyond which wired jacket and gloves are required. For now, 28° seems to be that limit.
The weekend will supposedly bring overnights in the middle teens, matching our low for the year. Our winter weather alerts and alarms were a nothing burger in my part of the world, but 2 hours north of here, our Tennessee friends John and Uncle Phil lost power, and I haven't heard from them in a couple days.
Anyone seen an update?
I'm pretty sure no one cares about our Alabama weather, but as I just woke up and as I'm only on my 2nd cup, my creative well is running low. Not that it's ever been a fount of inspiring reading.
All right then, I'll step away and make room for other, more entertaining coffee drinkers.
"Creativity is intelligence having fun." - Albert Einstein
That explains it, I guess.
You have to first be intelligent.
Well, damn.

Morning all!

-20/-22 this morning. They say partly cloudy but it's still dark out so maybe that's correct. -9/-18 and partly cloudy will be the high conditions.

Hope everyone has a good day and ponders attending WoodSToc in August. (This was a paid promo from Catcher. He's paying me for all my plugs. You don't get this level of marketing genius for free, right @Sadlsor?)

Did I mention Wood$Toc err WoodSToc ?

Again, have a great day.

Obo.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's clear and -6f this morning, rising to 21, later. With 10-15 mph wind, it'll feel even colder.

Yesterday, I made it to the gym, and knocked back the pile of snow in front of the house, anticipating the next storm.
On the way, I found the two closest hydrants snowed in, and shoveled them out.

Today, I was planning a trip to the local ski hill, but I may wait until it warms up a bit more.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Austrian get-up-and-go juice, Martin.

We've got just a half dozen Fahrenheits on hand here in Rockville; the supply is critically, nay dangerously, low and it feels like we're actually 2 Fahrenheits in the hole. We'll climb all the way to about 22 before shedding them again after sunset.

I've got an 8 a.m. appointment with the periodontist, so have to get a wriggle on to be ready.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Well worth mentioning! Interesting coincidence, I was rolling some WoodSToc stuff around in my head earlier. No doubt Obo and I will have to arrange a meeting soon, to make some tentative decisions, and get a wee food feed... Question - will there be bribes toward attendance this year? Answer is not too likely!
I do have great expectations, you can too!
But for now, it's back to my mug of coffee...

Good Morning Y'all, The End is Nigh! Okay not really but no Coffee as in my Faithful Black and Decker Coffee maker has bit the Dust. Some where in the house is one I inherited from Mom's house, but only my Wife knows where she put it. Gate opened, breakfast made, with a cup of tea, now what to do with the rest of the day. Cloudy with light rain 8 C high 10 C , dry a little after lunch, might see about a Bike ride. Cheers G

Morning all! Grey, wet and overcast here again. Shocking for this time of year. 10C now and apparently that's where it's going to stay.

I drove in today as I brought the pup to work with me. He's already been spoiled rotten with lots of treats and butt scratches. I live in envy of my dog....

You're making good time Brian, may your travels continue to go smoothly!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Martin & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 39F, up from 19F and going to 48F. But we'll be in ST George in about an hour plus, so the temp down there will be 61F. The winds have already kicked up a bit, coming from the NNE @ 5mph. Later, they from the North @ 9 to 13mph.

My :poop: procedure is at 1:30, so we're leaving in 25 minutes to get down there in plenty of time.

So for me, no foods and had to stop drinking anything at 10:30, so I should be in great shape for it! :old1:

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads!

Pepsi over Poopsie any day.

Reminds me I need to pay my credit card, so I don't end up in arrears.
