I don’t have a coffee problem.
I have a “people just won't stop talking” problem... :coffee:

G'Day...

19°/33°C, again glaring blue skies... ☀️
unruly night, ze GF still suffering a stuffy nose and a sore throat...
(thus snores a lot... 🐻 ;))

home Nespresso-ed... ☕

while filtering between queued up cars I got literally blocked by... a motorcycle! DAFUQ?!
Apparently some 'can be driven with car license 125cc' thing... pfffff...
yet another 'lots of bare skin with sneakers, shorts, T-shirt, no gloves' individual Darvin will soon take care of...
Managed to thread my mirror cover by its handlebar and headed up five more cars to the top of the line... still kinda baffled... 😒

office <ugh!>... Nescafé... ☕

I start feeling like an airport... everyone is 'approaching' me... wasting my time with some/their :poop:... 😒
So I sat there, office chair tilted back, hands resting on the abdomen, fingers interlocked... yadda, yadda, yadda... endless minutes...
When that person finally ran out of air, I erected myself, asking: "... and who is going to clean that up now?!..."
<incomprehensible stare>
me pointing at two imaginary points in the room "... you just vomited from here to there; so who's going to mop that up?!..."
took a while to sink in though... but off she went...
I just love it when a plan works out... 😁

hope your day starts better... 😎

Morning all, and thanks Martin for the startup.

13C and sunny for the ride in, headed to a cloudy (and possibly wet) 21C for the ride home.

They called yesterday saying my new mower is ready for pickup, so I'll arrange a buddy to pick it up in the next couple of days. Pity my only vehicles with trailer hitches have been motorcycles.

Enjoy the day.

Obo.

Good morning all!
Interesting start, Martin!
I’m off to get a recall taken care of on the Tundra. We had lots of rain overnight. Presently 57F heading to 66 with more wet stuff!
Hint, someone may be moving if the offer is accepted! More room for toys, etc!
:wink-2x:
Have a wonderful day folks!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's sunny and 56, rising to 83, later, while it becomes partly cloudy.
Rain is forecast for tonight.

Like I said yesterday, I thought about my psa test as I was posting here.
I quickly jumped into the truck and got that done, ASAP. It took so little time that I wasn't charged for valet parking.
Even though the phlebotomist said there might be a day's wait for results, they came back for my urologist appointment at 11:30.
My PSA number is UNDETECTABLE!

I'll have 3 month follow-ups for the next year, and then 6 month tests.
I'm still working on my incontinence , but it seems to be coming along. the urologist says that I can expect it to take 6 months to a year ...

Today I'll try for a walk and gym visit.

Enjoy your day ,
Steve

Interesting approach, Martin. Thanks btw, for putting the coffee on. I'm off in a bit to deliver a motorcycle trailer to someone's house an hour away. He sent me a deposit by e-transfer, so hopefully everything's on the up-and-up. Been trying to make a sale since the spring, so now I'm thinking I'm be financially able to butter my bread again - we all know it's better with butter! The trailer is in the box of my Maverick, and my supervisor says it stays there until I have the cash in hand! We'll see....

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the start, Martin.

It's a gorgeous 63°F in Rockville and sunny, although there's a milky-white haze / light cloud layer obscuring the blue. Mostly sunny with a high of 84 and not a lot of humidity, so it'll be comfortable.

Yesterday's visit to Steamtown NHP to see Big Boy No. 4014 was fun. I'm seriously considering making a follow-up trip in another couple weeks, to catch it in action as it travels from King of Prussia PA to Reading PA, or perhaps on its way through Hershey PA.

Didn't have a chance to post this over the weekend, but one of the other guests at our B&B was driving this little number:

P1110140.JPG

P1110142.JPG

It's only 15-20 years newer than this, but what a contrast in technology:

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks for the laff, Martin. All my coworkers are not made from the mold that yours seem to be, so I may not have the chance to use that anytime soon.
Darn.
It's good.
"Cleanup, Aisle 4..."
Steve, good news on the PSA. My story was a good news/bad news affair.
The good news?
They didn't kill me when they removed it.
Keith, is that a Bugeye Sprite by Austin Healey?
I've been looking at ads for another MGB, I had one made in 1980. What a fun, fun, little car.
And SO impractical for my needs today. Except for riding Kaiser around.
But it doesn't mean I can't want one.
My dad had a TR3 that mom made him sell when I was born (there was no heater in it.)
Maybe that's why I felt he never liked me much.
Later he wanted a TR6 (I still do), but he never bought one. Impractical for his needs, too, with four kids.
So what?
Some might say my motorbikes are impractical, too... but when did "practical" ever enter the equation?
I say YOLO.
So my advice is, live today.

"Cleanup, Aisle 4..."
You just start to hate them popping up in the door-frame to relieve themself on infinite verbal diarrhea about their disappointed of live, the universe and the rest... 😒
Like its my fault... pfffff...
Does it say "wailing wall" at my door-sign?! Nah!
Did I tell their ancestors to come down from the trees?! Again nah!
(IMO they should have never left the oceans... 🙄)

Morning all! Cloudy here with the chance of rain so I didn't wear the mesh jacket for the ride in. Currently 12C with a predicted high of 20C.

Sadlsor, I thought you might be interested in this. Honda is thinking about resurrecting the Element. It'll be a hybrid if they do.

Steve, great news about the PSA!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Y'all, thanks Martin for the start to the day. 61 F Cloudy 10 mph wind from SSE . Today's agenda, hopefully sell Airpark's Flail Mower. Yesterday balanced carbs on the ST , and retorqued the Sparkplugs, yeah one plug had come loose. Lady does run a bit smoother. Well time to clean the flail mower, cheers G

G'mornin' from SoMD! It's a nice 75F/24C here as I work on cuppa N° dos, thanks Martin! We've gotten a little rain the last few days, but not really enough to soften the ground up. We had a big severe storm roll through Monday replete with tornado warning, yet only 0.33" to show for it. Summer's not looking very good....

It's a half day work for me today, WFH as we are headed to go visit the MIL for the wknd...thank G-d they serve booze on the plane. I don't care what anyone tries to say, these visits are no vacation. Why I spend vacation-level money for this is beyond my comprehension...oh right, it's that "gotta love family" thing they say. Yeah, well, I love her but I don't like her. At least there's a beach to escape to. So, I just keep myself busy with honey-dos around her house while she wastes our time there berating her own daughter and everyone around her who tries to help out. I pray for her soul bc she needs inner peace, and I'm not even religious. Anyhoo, enough ranting...

Awesome pics, Keith! @ibike2havefun Would love to see BB in action too. Cute little car too!
Great news, Steve! @steve3b3

I have a “people just won't stop talking” problem... :coffee:
I've learned that giving them coffee helps quiet them...throwing it in their face does not.

Some might say my motorbikes are impractical, too... but when did "practical" ever enter the equation?
The ST is quite practical. Regular trips to BJ's (poor-man's Costco), plus each side bag holds a small grandkid, up to 20lbs!

Take care y'all!

Morning Martin & All from mostly sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 81F, heading for 88F with possible thunderstorms later in the day. We'll see! :well1: The winds are already blowing from the SSW @ 10 to 13mph. Later we'll be seeing them from the SW @ 20 to 27mph.

We never did get anymore rain, but north from us got some. The fires continue to burn. A lot of cabins have been destroyed, east of Beaver. One of Chris's cousins live near the direction of that fire, she told Chris that they were in the process of moving. We're hoping they are able to clear the old house out, before the fire hits that area.

This is currently where the fire is burning and Junction is where her cousin lives.

Another picture of it...

I'll be continuing my door frame restoration. I think I'll need a trip to Home Depot to get some filler.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for the morning start. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
