Timing belt replacement

I know the replacement mileage for the belt is 90k. But is there set number of years for the belt also. I know on Honda cars they call for 6yrs/90k which ever comes first. Have 92 st with 27k. 17 yrs on belt. Just wondering?

First I've heard of a time limit on the belt tho it does make sense. Many of us have gone way beyond 6 years between changes. STick now has 100,000 on her second belt, and 13 years. New one is setting on the shelf awaiting a change.
