'85 V65 Honda Sabre new to me. Replacing front tire. Calls for 110/90-18 & thinking ME880. How about a radial suggestion in 110/80ZR-18? Thanks.

Radials make a big difference on the V65 Sabres. I rode V45 Sabres for years and couldn't believe the difference when I went to radials back in 2000. When I bought the V65 Sabre in 2003, first thing I did was put radials on it once the tires on it wore down. Big difference again. I wouldn't ride a V65 Sabre any other way! :hat1:

Choices are Avon Storm AV55, Metz Z6 Roadtec, Michelin Pilot Road 2 CT, Bridg Battlax BT021. Believe they're all radials. Which do you suggest? Thanks.

I have a set of new radials for my V65 Magna but haven't installed them yet. Front is Avon Storm and rear is Avon Azarro. On the Magna, stock rear is 140 mm, but have to use 150 as radials not available in 140. Check clearance to the rear caliper stabilizer rod or get an aftermarket one if need be, if you have to size up.

I believe the Magna rear is a 16" whereas the rear for the Sabres (V45 & V65) were 17"s
