Unusual request for my buddies in southern California...

Jim Hyde of RawHyde has a ton of lightly-used or semi-new dual sport tires he needs to get rid of.
Some are free, some are half-price, but he is not willing to ship them at these prices. It's a come-and-get-'em deal.
Is anyone around southern CA who might pick them up for me and ship them to Birmingham?

Don't you need an excuse to to do a motorcycle ride loop through the USA?
I know you could put two tires on a 'Wing; I rode back from CA with two strapped to the GSA.
I'm not in a hurry, you know... Just want to save some money while Jim still has them.
