Have the forks removed from my 2001 ST1100, non ABS. Was doing a little rust removal and painting on the lower triple clamps. As I turned the handlebars side to side, this little bracket fell to the floor below the triple clamps. Did not see where it came from but suspect it may be related to the plastic handlebar cover, since that was removed before removing the forks. Anyone recognize it?
It has a rubber or plastic cover on the hooked end of it. It's photographed next to a 10 mm socket for size comparison. Thank you for any information that leads to putting it back where it came from.
