After I used the tool kit for the steering head bearing R&R, I thought I needed something like this to remove wheel bearings.

So, I used a bolt like this

And a 10 inch long hex bolt, with a 3/8 X 1 1/2 inch washer to sleeve the two bolts together. I used a small amount of JB weld to weld the two bolts and the sleeve together.

I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will do the trick.

Can you bring the tool to Indiana Tech Event? We can try it on my front and/or rear ST11 wheel bearing R&R.

Will do! it fits in both front and rear wheel bearings that Chris & I took out of his 93 wheels.

I also picked up a set of bearing and race drivers.

I also have a long threaded rod to use to with the driver set to install the bearings.

How permanent is the JB Weld? I would suggest the flat head to be screwed in tight. It would then be easily replaced when damaged.

The sleeve is not threaded, I tried to use just a nut, but it was bigger than the head of the bolt. And it only caught a few threads on each end of the bolts. JB weld I had on hand, and the bolts and sleeve were less than $5.
