I had the hondaline liners and they were made of thick nylon with tough zippers.

I've used the Bestem liners for 4 years with no problems. I even use them for weekend cage trips The fit in the saddlebags is great and they are durable. I've used them for about 30k miles of my travels.

RKA bag liners are about $100, very well made of coated nylon, fit nicely, have a shoulder strap, and fill the whole bag. The Honda liner, I believe are only half-depth, which may or may not be a good thing depending on how you use them. See rka-luggage.com

I bought the EZ Liners and they also make one for the top box. They make them in two widths so decide if you want on half the saddlebag filled or the full bag. They fix the enclosures nicely and seem to be holding up OK. I've even used one recently to haul stuff on my KLR that I don't have bags for yet.

I like the Hondaline "Half" liners. I keep all the stuff(tools, soft ties, tire repair, compressor, etc.) I don't use regularly in them and the lid portion of contains all the other essentials underneath criss-crossed mini-bungees. Pricey, but well made and durable IMO.

Robert,

For one of my bags, I use the back pack shown in the following images. It works great and ends up serving in several ways. It's a very durable bag and the front/lower section is waterproof. It's great for photo gear when I'm doing hikes and day trips after I reach my destination.

Earlier in the year I offered up a group buy for bags and I'm going to post one up again very soon. I'll add this backpack and the smaller cosmetic/shaving bag as well.

In the bag shown:
5 shirts, cotton/mesh, two of them long sleeve
3 pair underwear
3 white cotton socks
1 lined pair gym shorts
2 pair jeans, one long, one short
1 shaving kit

There was a bit more room for additional items. This back pack fits the ST1300 panniers just right. I often use it for my laptop transport when on the bike as well. It, of course, does take up a bit of additional room....just the nature of the beast...but worth the dual use later.

I'll post up the group buy soon. Here's the post from my last group buy. I'll post up something new that will include additional items. https://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35734 Group cost on this backpack is about/or less than the $45 price for the lower price bags listed in your first post.

Thanks for all the input. I also search through historical threads in this area of the site and found more opinions to consider.

I selected the EZliners mostly because the most people in both threads spoke favorably about them and they will give me max space - for light clothes.
