For the lowers, just find a motorcycle wrecking yard and strip off the deflectors off a ST1300P (cop bike).

You might be lucky, they might have the maintenance covers with them. If not you can still order those:

Part #s: 37 (right) 41 (left)

Use some heat to remove the old double stick tape, then just put some new mounting tape on and you're in business!

If the demand is there maybe they will be encouraged to bring them back.
Not gonna happen. It's just not realistic to expect it but hope doesn't cost anything.

Does Ryobi or somebody make a battery powered heat gun? That might be needed to remove the deflectors without chewing them up or at least make the task easier.

I believe that David Silver buys up old and unused stock from dealers and private individuals. I don't think that the reoly indicates that Honda will resume manufacture. It think it just means that there is a chance that D.S. may have come across another cache of unsold treasures ! Always worth checking back.

They ran out of complete sets some time ago. They were able to gather all the individual pieces until last year when I had them assemble a set. When I asked why one side cost so much more than the other, they said it is the last one. And from our conversation they source all over Europe, it’s not just what’s in their warehouse.
Don’t pass up on a good used set.

DeWalt makes a 20v heat gun.
