Wondering which one u have. My shield is great, but id like to experiment with one in the rain. Most of the ratings on amazon are 4 star, so im a bit suspicious.

I always look at the 1,2 and 3 star ratings (in that order). A lot of the one star reviewers clearly had either unrealistic expectations or no knowledge how to use the product. Every now and then you get someone articulate who explains the shortcomings of the reviewed product - that's what I look for.

I have a bolt on MRA (works great on my full time Givi shield as well as on a Clearview which is useless without it) and this cheap clamp on Amazon version which has worked fine on the rarely used Clearview... ST1100

Tried one of those and found the joints too weak, hence it folded in/up/all over the place... but I've to admit that I ran up to 100mph with it, hitting dirty air behind semis or coaches also brough so much force on the screen, that the lower black garnish plate got forced out the mounting spots...
It also didn't calm the airflow around the helmet, nor brought the noise down as I'd intended... hence it got removed after 1/2 a day...
(I obtained it cause I'm sitting a tad higher with the Top Sellerie saddle... I'll now change the SECDEM screen from 51cm to 55cm which will solve the problem...)
