Removed the bar end weights early this winter and a friend sprayed them with ac epoxy. Unfortunately they didn't turn out well, so I threw them on the lathe and Scotchbrited the paint off. Then a quick shot of solvent. Next, a couple of coats of clear enamel, et voila!

Not being able to buy Staintunes currently, I put a wanted notice up here and one of the inmates "The Dan" responded with a very decent pair of mufflers. A couple of afternoon's work and they had a fine glow going on.
Can't wait to here them purr...
Aside from being lifetime mufflers and beautifully crafted, the mufflers knocked Thirteen pounds of weight off!!

If you're bored and cold, fly down to Texas and we'll spoil ya with your own section of the house and barn (60-70's F down here now) ... but you'll need to polish stuff to pay it all off : )
