I can tell you from experience it isn’t a great idea, at least it wasn’t 30 years ago. That is a great idea. I might start doing the same
Well, at least it might not hurt as bad when she slaps you upside the head for being such a dipstick! That is a great idea. I might start doing the same
Nope, never sold em and never bought a used one.Did anyone sell their old helmets? And have you ever bought a used one for yourself?
Don't you feel wind drag at speed?I liked my Arai helmet (Freddie Spencer edition) so much that I made a lamp out of it. View attachment 327090
I think helmet technology has progressed to the place where the price of the helmet may or may not determine how safe it is.My dad always said if you have a 5 dollar head buy a 5 dollar helmet.
Kind of like crashing at high speed - the difference between 70 mph and 100 mph is how far does the corpse slide before it stops ...I am using an Arai now because of my head shape, hate to spend the money..... But it is lighter and better ventilated than the less expensive ones. I was told only to wear what you think your heads worth. But I was also told that the difference between open face and closed face helmets is whether it is a open casket at the funeral.
