Nope, NO NEW pavement. I don't know who it was how first said they were working on it but at most there are a few culvert replacements, that's it. My guess is they confused it with 125. Now 125 is getting really nice. There is still about 2 miles that are still dirt but they are getting there. Other than that 125 is all new from the East to the top..
 
Yes Dave, I don't remember who said but I was told app gap was getting redone. Thanks for the clarification, sorry Bones disregard my last statement!

Yep I read info from several that it was dirt this summer and getting paved. It is not dirt or repaved.. Though some of the big bumps are gone due to the culvert work being done.
 
I came across 125 coming home from Lake Placid in June. Oops. Oh, well, the rain coming south on 100 helped wash off all the mud.
 
I am happy to report that one half of the App gap is newly paved! The back half all the way to the top at the parking lot overlook, where this tag is

From the road side it's got the business name painted on the rear fender. Yet I saw no business in sight in either direction.
