Planning a trip into W. Virginia with 2 or three riders and was wondering if anyone knew of any MC friendly hotels or motels? I thought of base camping out of Snow Shoe, might be to expensive there though.
Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

We have stayed at the Quality Inn and the Holiday Inn Express in Weston and were always welcomed, and here's a map of some routes we ride one of which takes you to Snowshoe, another to Seneca Rocks, another across RT 60 "The Claw" to to Hawks Nest State Park, the Gauly Bridge, Highland Scenic Highway 150 and a series of cool esses up to Droop Mtn State Park. Lots of great riding in this area.

WV-STOC has been run from the cabins at Canaan Valley resort (~ 10-12 miles south of Davis) for many years. There's another hotel a couple miles up the road toward Davis.

I can help with routes too Peter if you'd like. At WV-STOC we do a mix of twisty highways and technical B roads.

I don't know anything about where to stay, but having ridden some of the roads around Snowshoe, I definitely recommend staying near there!

Larry makes a good point, both Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley resorts offer basic and deluxe cabins. Near Snowshoe is Cass where one of the original company houses from the early 1900's logging operations can be rented from the state park system.

Elkins has several motels even holiday inn. What about Cass?restoed village from logging days.Large cabins in a rustic village setting.bbq shower etc.Greasy spoon within walking distance.Take a steam loco.ride ride there.Grasy spoon also has motel units upstairs.Warning- - get a room away from reefer units.

Super interested this thread, I'm long overdue for a trip over there... I'll add a question... what about cheap?

How does that thing go about repairs on bike or car ?good & cheap etc. Same applies to accommodations in my experience.
$20 bucks more saves all the B.S. Fill it in later.

We used to say that is the Highway Traffic Safety sign business too
