I dropped it today.

Normally, I let it power it'self up on the lift, and I just walk it up on the lift. So with it in running and in gear, side stand switch would have prevented this from happening. Still sad myself, as the rebuild begins.

Got it all back together & rode to work today, STopped in to have supper with my oldest Son & family before heading home.

STill trying to figure out the radio's SWR, but had no other issues with it.

Well you would never know that you had any problems looking at it now. Keep it up and enjoy the ride!! :D

What's the blue car in the background of the first pic? Mid 70's Cutlass?

That was my brothers car, We actually sold it right after these photo were taken. It is a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado, front wheel drive, has the big 500 V-8. Very nice car, original color, white leather interior.

Damn Gary, that sucks! I saw this thread as I was posting my most recent tip over. I also destroyed my windscreen and replaced it with a Laminar Lip combo (hopefully arriving on tuesday). If your down around Lexington KY, I have an SWR meter and a nice field nearby, we can tune that antenna right up! Or if I ever get new tires to put on, ill come your way and bring it with.

Gary.

I was putting my ST1100 on the lift early today, I failed to get the side stand up all the way. It was almost on the lift when the side stand caught on the ramp, and down she went. Fell into the wall away from me and hit the toolbox on the way down. Not happy now. :( :banghead:

Sorry to hear that. I was wondering if those Highway Pegs helped protect you or the bike if you were actually riding it?
