I'm gonna get some "Boooo's" for this report --- but FYI
I just put on a new rear PR3 7/10/14.
It replaced my previous PR3 that got a small "brad" type nail stuck in it in the fall of 2012 with only 500 miles on it.
I plugged the tire with the Stop & Go Tire Plugger (mushroom type), kept checking it frequently, kept an eyeball on it.
The tire went 15,800 miles on the plug with no problem. It was pretty well worn out, not so bad in the center, but had hit the wear bars on the left of center side.
Start yelling at me now
