That would be Electrical Connection - good people. LinkOne of the vendors (don't remember who) here sold a replacement that was hard plastic. I was to be used to mount switches outlets or whatever.
No this is a soft rubber. The windjammer III as you mentioned was of vinyl with dome snaps to hold it in place IRCIs this cover made of vinyl or something similar. I remember my Vetter Windjammer III having some vinyl covers that snapped over the pockets. That fairing was a heavy beast but it made riding a lot more comfortable.
Any idea on how this hard plastic version is held in place. The right hand cover is locked in place.

Only 50k? Dilly dilly.On my 95 I just added a daub of silicon to the tabs that were worn to create a tighter fit. Not permanent, I think I had to do the fix again in about 50 k miles
