We like 'em that way! Wish I would have caught up with this thread earlier as I would've given you some routes west and south out of Harrisonburg, VA. You should come back in the fall for WV-STOC.

96 miles of excellent riding is always a good time. 96 miles of excellent riding having a good time and saving $60.00 sounds like a worthwhile sacrifice.

If you happen to be in the Daniel Boone Forest area again tonight, I can recommend Sheltowee Camp as a good place to stay. Been there several times and it's always been excellent. http://sheltoweecamp.com
No restaurants nearby though, you'll have to go to Corbin, about a 20 minute trip. Can't go wrong with Bubby's BBQ.

Following your trip has been very enjoyable so far. Safe travels and keep writing.

I dont know why, but when i travel im always up at 4:00, drinking french roast and checking the weather. Today is another curvy day, and i look forward to it! Im not good in the turns, but i still have a ball! It has been really nice riding out here. They arent kidding when they say there are “valleys”!
Now that im out of the northeast, i have to start thinking about camping. That way i can extend my trip. 8B8FD62F-E298-4904-9372-A3D70749BA56.jpeg

Dont stop in a mexican restaraunt at 2:00! I did and ran out of move juice. Saw some nice things tho! Did the steepies and curvies in w virginia, and the rolling curves in kentucky. I actually got a few miles today. The temps were pretty low in the morning and i was sweating and removing layers at 12:00. Im sitting here at the motel in richmond ky barefoot and loving it. Just a tee shirt!
It looks like i might have to floor it a bit to pagosa springs co. Gotta meet the new grand daughter and a gift for the first.
all in all, i lost a lot of time going thru ny city and jersey, and the snow and cold. I did it so u dont have to, and will not do it again.
im in the rolling hills and heading for the grasslands of kansas.931F59A3-97B7-4430-85E3-BA858C1D366A.jpeg3D0A779A-8133-4A3B-8A18-F43BFB5C1261.jpegC3D469DD-0A19-459D-B356-73DE29B717F4.jpeg
