Very nice pics and commentary- I really need to ride more and further from home. The pic of your bike under the cover in the rain looks like it’s just balancing there - you can’t see the side stand.

Im in hattiesburg mi. Its pretty warm and i have to find a mesh jacket. I was soaked in sweat, and i expect it will get worse. The trees and flowers are spectacular. I came down rt 11 and am seeing some swamps and critters. A real nice ride! I stopped in a podunk gas station and spent 15 min pumping two gal of non eth gas and the bike loved it! Gotta get me some more of that!
Im about 100 mi n of n orleans and hope to ride thru and not get stuck there. Im more interested in the gulf coast and swamps.
today i was tired and spent a ton of miles just plugging along at the speed limit.

Being the uppity yankee that i am, i found them underwhelming. It was that or “tater tots”, whatever they are. Still, a very nice group works there.

It's not really in the middle of the name... it's more towards the left.. so you're ok.

Honestly, i really disliked the french quarter. Ive been on the road since 3/31 and have had tons of privacy. The quarter was gridlocked, expensive and dirty. The buildings were beautiful tho. I got out of there after an hour and am heading for the swamps along the lousiana coast. The quarter was exactly what i did not want.

Yeah had to Google that one. I'll eat most anything. But not that thing. Sounds awful. Right up there with the rotten shark stuff from Iceland.
