Id like to install some super bright yellow lights on the front of my bike. The point is to make myself more visible when cagers look in their rear view mirrors before they change lanes.
I can’t afford $500 lights.
Anybody have a suggestion or two on good cheap lights?
I like the small ones.
Many thanks!

A thread awhile back mentioned Zmoon 1.3" LED lights.
I bought a set, they were less than $40. They work well for me and they switch from yellow to white, hi and low beam.

I have used these on several bikes. I get amber. They appear to flicker.

From their website:

"In addition to being extremely bright, our patented technology makes the LEDs appear to flicker when viewed out of the corner of the eye, but they appear to be constant when viewed directly. This ensures that others see you, especially drivers pulling out into traffic."

You can get a pair from our chums in China for $17 with free shipping.

Regarding the Zmoon lights above (Amazon or Aliexpress). What do they mean by high and low beam. Aren't they just simple little add on lights?

There are 3 leads. You can run either color hi/low in how they are oriented. One LED supersedes the other.

There are 2 LED emitters per light. One is white, the other yellow. Folks usually tie the yellow into the low beam and the white into the high beam.
You can mix them however you want or put them on switches that have nothing to do with the high or low beam at all.

I installed them under my tip over wings, connected white to running light circuit, amber to turn signal circuits. Several that I've ridden with mentioned it helps greatly with visibility.

Thank you everyone! Ordered the 1.3's. My red is going in the shop for a bunch of things and I should have these installed at the same time as the tupperware is coming off for plugs, clutch bleed, etc. getting ready for the upcoming ride about! Starting to look like a mid August departure!

I just received the zmoons. Pretty cool little lites! Where on my 11 should i install them and what color (white or amber) should i have them on with my low beams? Im more concerned with someone seeing me at a intersection or in their rear view mirror than inclement weather.
Many thanks!

I would install them down on the forks (probably have to fab up some brackets) where the front fender reflectors mount.
Easy enough to connect to your running lights inside the mirror covers with a Scotchlock.
Should I have amber w low and white w high beams, or visa versa?
