Alabama has a tree that owns itself as well...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tree_That_Owns_Itself_(Alabama)

A tag of both would be fun. Another parallel is that both original trees were destroyed - the Alabama tree by a tornado and the Georgia tree by natural causes. The Georgia tree has a stronger claim because its replacement was a child (acorn) of the original tree, where the replacement Alabama tree was just, well, another tree.

It reminds me of the guy who said he had George Washington's axe that he chopped down the cherry tree with - the handle had been replaced three times and the head twice...

Gotta keep these tag threads going (gives me a reason to get out), so I rode in again from the next state over to give the Georgia riders a hand.

Oh thank God! I was gearing myself up mentally to go get the chicken picture tomorrow. (I freaking hate Atlanta)

Fine by me. I'm trying to encourage others to get involved. :thumb:

I currently have GA, SC, NC, TN, KY, WV, and VA-West.
Great job on having the tag in all those states. It would be nice to have a few more tag players out riding. I heard Mellow is donating all his used tires this year to the most prolific tag mover!
