Yes I did. Aside from the flipped transport truck just outside of Calgary that cost me an hour stuck in traffic the trip went well. I'm no newbie to longer days on a motorcycle so it really didn't feel like a particularly long day.

600 miles in the rain on a bike you hadn't ridden before is impressive to me!

My take home ride was only about 250 miles and it took only the first 50 to know the stock seat would have to go.

LOL, yeah well, I might have made 70 or 80 miles before coming to that very same conclusion. I put my airhawk seat cushion on at my first stop and that helped a lot but a better seat will be coming once I get through all the maintenance and initial farkle installs.
