Well I finally did it after 12 1/2 years. It would have been Sooner but I have bought 4 other bikes in the last almost 6 years. And have 4 in the garage for now.
I replaced several left headlights before installing LED’s.
One front turn signal bulb.
One rear turn signal bulb.
And a front brake light switch under warranty. A $20.00 part at the time.
I replaced the battery twice. Never failed to start.
I don’t know how much longer I will keep it. I was bound and determined to put 100,000 on one bike for the first time. But it sure has been good to me.

Congrats!! Slow and steady you are, sometimes it's what wins. The ST just keeps going and going, smooth and comfortable.

Now... how long to 150k?

Super Congrats. I made it to 94K on my '06. Sold it to my brother in April...so I told him to make sure I was w/him to see the ODO change over to that magic 100,000.

Well done and congratulations! My 07 had only 4200 miles on her when I bought it in June of 2018. After less than a year and a half I’m about to crack 20,000, so I sometimes wonder how long it might take me to reach 100,000! I would love to add a dual sport one day, but I don’t see ever having 4 bikes! We’ll see what pace I can keep up on the ST! It’s a great ride so far!!!

Great job Keith. :thumb: I rode mine almost 150K-miles in 11years before the crash on the way home from ArSTOC. Now I ride FJR. I bought it before Xmas of 2015 with 15k-miles on her. now it just turns over 60+K-miles in 3 summers of riding. :thumb:

Very good. Looking for the 150 myself but with other bikes not sure it will come.
I know what you mean. 4 bikes is too many for me. I like them all for different reasons. But I want to get down to no more than two. I’m keeping my Triumph Tiger 800 XCX. It does everything I would want to do. And it is the most fun bike I have ever owned to ride.
And I want a long distance touring bike that comes fully loaded. Probably a RT.
But I am not buying anything else until I sell the ones I have. I think.

Congrats!

The first 100K is the toughest. The next shouldn't take you nearly as long.

And at 200K it rolls over to zero so you get a new bike! :)
