16,000 service

Can someone out there in "ST" land give me a little insight on the diffrence between the 16,000 mile service and a regular tune-up service w/valves adjusted besides the 450.00 price diffrence? Thats just the labor not including parts if needed.I know im not he most machanically inclined person out there but what the service guys are telling me dosent jive.

However, welcome to the site.

$450 for a 16k service where the valves are checked is probably around the ballpark.

Many do this themselves. It's not hard but it helps to have seen others do it first.
