I did my 16,500 valve check yesterday (1st).
Intake valves: .006" feeler went in easy under cams, but .007" would not go.
Exhaust: .010" went in easy on five, but .011" was a no-go. On three valves the .010" was a tight push but a .009" feeler went in real easy.
I'm good for another 16K (maybe 20k this time)
I am very impressed that techs can assemble and setup the engine so well that after 16,000 miles everything is still within spec.
