Looking at the Progrssive 465-1128 ($ 369.00) versus a stock replacement from mother Honda.

Mom wants $ 292.19 for a Showa (at Partzilla) but she lists a different part number for the same year with ABS at a higher price - $ 416.00.

Two questions - why does Honda list a different part number for the ABS options, while Progressive offers the 465-1128 for both applications.

2nd question - would a mere mortal be able to tell the difference between the OEM shock and the Progressive shock for everyday riding...

Clutch

First question: IDK! They LOOK like the same shock. Maybe different spring rates???

Second question: YES! The Progressive is more adjustable. Worth the difference in price, especially if you do the forks too.

Works Pro here as well on lipSTick. It's the shock from STanley and has been rebuilt once. It's due again.
