Needed to get Darth from his home at 7 Bays to the Bothell garage in prep for a much longer ride in three weeks to AZ. Left 7 Bays at 8am just as the sun was coming up. Still a little snow on top of the mountain across the lake.IMG_20160302_080157.jpg

Ride out thru a deep canyon I could see the morning sun streaming thru the trees on the dark wet asphalt.....showing little sparkles still on the road....frost.....better be gentle till it warms up. Stopped at the Creston Corner Cafe for a plate of biscuits and gravy and a hot cup of coffee to warm my hands on. 30 minutes later ready to go the rest of the 245 miles. Dry and sunny until Ellensburg, then a thin overcast. Snowed yesterday and rained hard. Couldn't ride a two wheel machine over the pass yesterday. Today is much better, only road slime thrown up by the tires of other vehicles.

Wow, perseverance! I thought 40 degrees was rough the other day, but it looks like you are pushing for spring even more than myself! Great picture with the snow covered mountains in the background, looks like a beautiful area to ride.

Glad you made it over safely buddy. Wish I could have made the ride with you. I think I would have been stuck on the wrong side though with the snow that is supposed to hit the pass this week. I now find myself in a position of trying to keep up with you on the mileage tracker...

Watched for you on the pass cameras today. 33F and rain. Ugly way to start, although the E side was nice and dry. Looking forward to joining you tomorrow.
