Andy - Sorry we couldn't connect when we were in Newfoundland. We were there only one night, got in sort of late and I figured you were pretty busy. We blasted across to the west side the next day after visiting Cape Spear. Did you visit Signal Hill?

I loved the Meadows. We didn't get to do the 'commercial' site down the road that had the replica of a Viking ship though. Did you visit the Arches when you were on the west side? I really liked the west side a lot better than the east side - at least the roads didn't jar the fillings out of your teeth!

We missed each other by a couple days Andy... I was just in the UP a few days ago... visited the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point on Monday. Down in Detroit area now. Headed southwest towards home on Friday. Have a good trip!

KBiK was fitted with some new rubber to ensure we have enough tread for the 2,000 mile ride south west to Colorado and then the ride home.

Bird strike at 75 mph in North Dakota today. Took me a while to clean my visor. My Hi-Viz yellow Aerostich suit now also has an ugly blood spatter. ATTGAT guys!

After 9,500 miles in 28 riding days over a total of 45 days, I have returned home from my adventure to Newfoundland and back. KBiK performed perfectly and passed 70K miles. Not bad for a 3.5 year old K1600GTS
