Will the epilogue ever be posted or have I missed it somehow?
Not out yet, so . . . you haven't missed it. Keep in mind that the author (John Harrison) works full time and might be a little busy catching up after being away for about 2 weeks from work, family, and other projects. Also, I'd guess information is still being generated by participants who are only now coming to understand what they accomplished and are making the effort to put thoughts into words which John can reference in the much anticipated "epilogue."

Patience is a virtue. Like you and Paul Harvey, I'm eagerly awaiting "the rest of the story."

Nice to be mentioned in the epilogue, but I wish it wasn't for crashing. Other than the minor get-off, my only regret is not going for the bonus at the Kennecott mine in McCarthy, AK. It was the 2nd largest bonus up there and would have put me in the top 10, BUT the description in the rally book described 60 miles of "mediocre" gravel. I had lost too much time strapping my bike back together or so I thought. Being 4400 miles from the finish, the timing in basecamp just looked to be too close, given a couple border crossings and an unknown amount of construction zones. I spoke with Jim Owen at the finish and he said the gravel road wasn't too bad so I'm sure I could have made it. That being said, I REALLY enjoyed the ride up there and can now cross Alaska off the bucket list.

I just read on another forum that Greg Rice (40th place) had a high side, 6 miles from his home, returning from the rally. Broken ribs, punctured lung, and helicopter ride, but seems to be recovering.
