I've been doing so much motocamping all the stories this winter run together. Seems this winter has been the best weather for it I can remember and all the best stories revolve around the worst experiences. What can I say about great weather, riding, camping, and old guys on motorcycles other than the old guys keep getting older and they are fewer and fewer. That fact has resulted in my enjoying solitary riding more and more while meeting new people at every campground, most aren't on motorcycles (if they have one it is usually on a trailer). No gator, snake, or mosquito stories to tell... One delaminated front tire resulted in an an a abreviated stop at Stagecoach; but great to see Raymond again and get his escort/ assistance for the uneventful 35 mph ride to Pensacola. :cool:

By the time we pulled the wheel no less than 6 bubbles, one rubbed through, no loss of air. The other Toms were no help, they just wanted to get back to the campground and drink...:wine2:
 
I was there. Pretty good turnout. I would guess about 300 people. Good weather until rain on Sat night. Big bonfire, tall tales, the usual……
