Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the new TFT controls allow one to switch the display between kilometers and miles.
What say ye, beemer (thanks, @dduelin) owners?
I'm a new owner too, and still in the process of overcoming my ignorance of all the menu choices.

You can change some but I don't think you can change the odometer.... I could be wrong.

My RT still has the original software version so future versions - possibly on this '22 for sale maybe have more configurable options.

On ADVrider, some have said the GS911 software updates allow some additional settings, such as heated grip levels, and others.
I wasn't sure if the BMW TFT allowed distance measurement alternatives.

I'm talking about the bike's software - there may be the ability to change kms to mls etc w/newer updates. I believe on motoscan you can anyway.. but I'm too busy today to check myself.

Some - like ME - will disagree.
It's also known as The Toaster, and it's a GREAT utility vehicle with fold-up / removable rear seats, or just lay them down to sleep in.
Not to mention, it's the PERFECT 4-wheeler dog carrier.
And that is exactly why I bought mine.
They're popular with camper people and outdoorsy folk and dog owners, and the price has gotten ridiculously high... almosr as high as the mileage on most of them.
But it's OK with me if you don't like it.
