Hi my 40 amp alternator case is cracked I need to Repair it is it possible to take it out without removing the swingarm ?

No. You will need to remove the swing arm. Once that is done it takes about 15 minutes to swap the old for new. A new rubber boot would be a good idea . You will need a special tool to remove the swing arm nut and to reinstall it to the proper torque specs. That tool is easy to acquire in the UK off of eBay
