Made a accessory mount between clutch and front brake mounts, used ½ aluminum, but I'm going to switch to ⅝, plan to add a GPS and dash cam in future

I'll recommend using a 1" rod, it will be easier for you to find clamps for that size and not for 5/8",
All true but I'll wager he could fab just about any mount he wants which could be a big plus instead of having to use/adapt to an off the shelf clamp.

So, I got a piece of 7/8 aluminum rod and used it, much better

VERY nice! I was considering making a horizontal flat bar spanning that area as a "shelf" for aux switches, meters, EZPass, etc... But the round bar looks so much more classy.
BTW, what to you have mounted over your mirrors?

Check to see if they look to ge the same colour as your wheels. If they are, or if that is an acceptable match to you if they aren't, have a look at the below.

Did a search here and seems like the newest if 2012...maybe there have been some new experiences? I plan to put some new tires on the 1100 and want to rattle can spray the fork legs, calipers and wheels ad the sand in the roads here in FL has taken quite a toll. Powder coating would be ideal...

If you want to look for the paint, I believe that the actual paint code for the handlebars is Honda NH295M, Sparkling SIilver Metallic. Check to be sure.
I think that the silver on the wheels is NH167MU, Iron Nail Silver Metallic.
